Dear Esteemed Guests, Partners, and Marine Enthusiasts,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the Malaysia International Boat Show 2026. Building on the tremendous success of MYBOS 2025, we are once again gathering at the prestigious Royal Langkawi Yacht Club to celebrate Malaysia's growing prominence in the global yachting and marine industry.

MYBOS 2025: A Historic Success

MYBOS 2025 was truly a landmark event that exceeded all expectations. We were honored to welcome more than 2,800 visitors and hosted 42 exhibitors from 12 countries, showcasing the finest in yachts, boats, and marine technology. The event's success was further elevated by the gracious presence of His Royal Highness Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah, who officiated the royal opening ceremony.

This truly transformative event for Malaysia's marine future also witnessed two historic milestones: the launch of the Malaysia Yacht Code (MYC) on 22nd May, establishing new standards for recreational boats under the Langkawi International Yacht Registry, and the successful Malaysia Yachting Conference 2025, which brought together major marine stakeholders to discuss critical industry topics.

Looking Ahead to MYBOS 2026

MYBOS 2026 will be our most ambitious edition yet, taking place from 2nd to 5th April 2026. We are committed to positioning this event as Southeast Asia's leading luxury maritime showcase, attracting high-net-worth individuals and serving as the gateway to the region's expanding maritime potential.

The Malaysia Yachting Conference, held on 2nd April at Senja Hall at Ombak Villa, will once again bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. Under the theme "The Rise of Nautical Tourism in Malaysia," we will address crucial topics from marine insurance and regulatory frameworks to sustainable marine economy development.

I am grateful for our strong partnerships with the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) as our co-organiser, and the invaluable support from Sail Malaysia and Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. Together, we are building a sustainable and prosperous future for Malaysia's marine industry.
